Marine debris is a serious problem, but you can help! Join in the largest world-wide volunteer effort to protect the ocean. All ages can take part in the cleanup, add found items to our Salmon Trash Sculpture or enjoy fun Earth-friendly activities in the Learning Center. ESC is partnering with Puget Soundkeeper and the Ocean Conservancy to pitch-in and the City of Burien is sponsoring the event.
Meet at ESC at the north end of Seahurst Park where cleanup supplies will be provided. The Ocean Conservancy is fighting for trash-free seas and smartphone users can download their Clean Swell app to document found items for local and worldwide counts. Did you help out last year, or want to know what we found? View Puget Soundkeeper's report on cleanups in the Puget Sound basin.
